I don’t know why you say goodbye I say hello.
Tami waving outside my door would be a good time as ever to face reality. But I refuse.
So, today is October 7. (Happy birthday to Doug Ticker, a huge fan of the blog! And to Ze’ev Abigador, probably an even bigger one!)
Anyway. That leaves less than a month before Tami’s due date, November 5. She could be pulled out of work any day now, and the blog could come to a rapid, sad demise. How heartbreaking! How will life go on?!
Oh. I guess by welcoming new life. Hmm.
It’s exciting! So instead of waving goodbye to the blog (still prematurely — see, this blog is still only a preemie) we’re waving hello to baby Isley.
Tami and Harry are naming the baby either Isaac or Shirley, but they don’t know which one the sex will necessitate, so I call the baby Isley in the meantime.
Okay, I know, it’s silly. But, Tami and Harry, hear me out — for baby two, consider Isley. Because then you could have an Isley brother.
And a Coney Isley Baby.
And it will help you remember your honeymoon in Hawaii, which is probably hazy to you at this point anyway!
