We had mama’s ZITI pizza (and garlic knots!) today, AND we saw Amanda. Hence the elation. She’s working in a different Newark office now in the center we call gateway. (haha just think of that line in hedwig — it’s been too long since I saw that movie.) Funny Amanda story. I stayed at amanda’s house down the shore the evening before her first day at her new office, and she didn’t realize after 8 months of working in Newark that the entire purpose of the giant monstrous gateway center complex that housed her new office was to connect workplaces directly to the train so they’d never set foot in nwk. It has TWO subways, amanda’s second fave (behind Dario of course). The first time I went anywhere with tami I BELIEVE was getting takeout sushi from gateway with Deborah and tami’s old boss. Anyway ziti pizza is SUBLIME. I can even overlook the shitty marinara for the garlic knots at mama’s, which is pretty atypical of me.
